Casita Independence question

I'm intrigued by the Independence layout. Can anyone tell me how many inches between the two beds?

The Casita website shows overall exterior width of 80", each bed is 31.5" wide. If you subtract 1.5" on each side for wall thickness (including belly band), that leaves about 14" for the aisle between the beds. If anyone actually has an Independence, hopefully they will measure the actual aisle and respond.

Pretty narrow if you have big feet. We have the Liberty which is almost the same floor plan except for the bed width and storage compartments. We would have liked to have the Independence because of the larger beds but decided to opt for the wider leg room and narrower beds. Was at the factory last week and looked at an Independence on the show room floor and decided we made the right choice for us. You need to go in one and see what you think.

Seems to be about two feet. We thought it would be a little tight but we love it.
We purchased a new Independence in May and absolutely love the layout.
In fact, that's the reason we selected the Independence.

I owned a 2013 Indy. We ordered a queen foam mattress from Amazon and cut it in half for the beds. I wear size 13 shoes so the walkway was a little tight.
Mine was an early 2013 and it did not have walkway front access doors. We really liked the twin beds but if I were to buy another Casita 17 it would be a Liberty and I would do the twin bed mod. like the link below.

Thanks! I think the liberty with the bed mod is still my first choice. My dog likes to sleep under the bunk in my scamp and she would not fit there in the independence!

I have a 2016 Independence. By actual measurement, the aisle space measures from 13 3/4 to 14 3/4 inch wide, depending where in the aisle you measure. (The doors leading to the storage spaces underneath the twin beds on either side are made of 1/2 inch thick composite board.)
