SOLD: 2006 - 17' Casita Spirit Deluxe

2006 - 17’ Casita fiberglass Spirit Deluxe camper - $14,500
In really great shape – in and out. Never in an accident and low mileage. Probably less than 2,000 miles overall. This has most all of the factory options plus many after market options that make this great trailer even better than when it came off the factory floor. I am an engineer and I spent a great deal of time and effort to make this a very reliable and efficient trailer for dry camping or in a campground. High energy solar panels or 120VAC with a deep cycle AGM battery make this a breeze to use.
I’ve tried to list everything but I’m sure I’ve left something out. This is ready to go. We just took our last camping trip this month to Maine and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Casita performed flawlessly.
Spirit Deluxe is designed for 2 to 3 people who enjoy exceptional comfort. Casita Travel Trailers makes it easy to convert the two sleeping areas into dinette tables. Dinette positioning options create even greater enjoyment during meals: you can leave the rear dinette in the double bed position permanently and use the side dinette for eating. Roomy bath and shower too.
Also has a custom full time double size mattress for the rear area (shown in photos). This is a very comfortable way to use this camper. It has the original dinette and cushions as well.
Easy to use with full hookups in a campground or…

Hi
Can you advise where in MA? And if you have manuals (I'm a newbie)? I'm also curious about the weight and what you have used to tow.
Best,
Kim

I have all the manuals for the trailer and appliances. It's very easy to get your hands around. I am on Cape Cod - West Barnstable to be specific.

I forgot. I have towed it with a Toyota Tacoma, a Toyota Tundra and a Chevrolet Silverado. The trailer is light - about 2,500 lbs. The tongue weight is about 300 lbs. I have a brake controller installed in all the trucks that I used to haul it. The brakes in the trailer are very good.

Jeff, if you run it across a scale you'll find out the 17s come in at 3200-3300#s with roughly 400#s on the tongue. The posted dry weights from the builders are before anything is added to the rolling shell .

Moderator note: The Casita Weight Discussion has been moved to a new thread in General Chat.
