I don't know Scamps that well, but with that front window isn't it a Standard?
I agree it's a low price for a Deluxe.

Look again Walt. Yes, it is a Deluxe with front dinette. Lots of photos.

"Diane" needed an editor as there are typos and referred to the stove as 3-way when she meant the frig. I don't know.

Sometimes people get in a rush to sell for whatever reason. If this one is solid and clean, someone is gonna steal one.

Thanks. On a Casita deluxe implies a bathroom. I was incorrectly assuming the same for Scamps.

Thanks Fredrick

We just purchased a 2016 - 13ft Deluxe , birch interior, vinyl floor(easy dirt/sand clean up), electric brakes, frnt, back and side cabinets, furnace, etc.

We had a 2011 13ft standard that we had Amish made solid cherry table, drawers, and cabinet doors that we sold in 2014 (see album)

Fiberglass RV - BillE's Albums

but wanted the deluxe with the big bed....we now need help in selling our tear drop to help pay for the new scamper

Yikes!!! THAT was fast. You must've got the perfect customer. Congratulations and my goodness, isn't this all just working out perfectly? Merry Christmas indeed.

Now to consider the options you might want for a cherry on top? LOL Good Bill, really good.

The San Diego deluxe 13' is down. Seems likely someone got a red hot deal on it. Saturday appears to have been sale day. Good for them.

We are picking up the Scamp 13 deluxe frt. dinette on Saturday 1/2/2016.

Going up to Baxter on New Years day staying at the Woods. Nice place and can't wait for the fish fry.

I'll post pictures Saturday.

Hi, do you also enjoy the 44” bed for standard? My main concern is the narrower bed is not that comfy, that is the main reason I prefer deluxe over standard. I am still debating now.

You can now have the same 54” bed in 13’ standard layouts. That used to be a reason to choose the 13’ deluxe, but not any more. This is an old thread and I believe the “big bed” option became available after this discussion.

But only on the 13’ models. If you’re thinking about 16’ers, then yes, you have to spring for the deluxe to get the larger bed. Note that with the 16' deluxe layout B (side dinette), ordering the large fridge means the stove is cantilevered over the bed.

I agree the narrower bed is tight for two. With our whole family of four, we resorted to head-to-toe sleeping to make the smaller 44” bed roomier for two. My wife shared the 44" bed with one of our daughters, and I split the bunks with the other. When it’s just my wife and myself, we might cozy up to watch a movie in the rear bed, but when it’s lights out, I move to the front bunk and she gets the rear bed to herself. In addition to space, it makes the nighttime bathroom runs easier. Small trailers entail compromises.

Tough decisions…
