: we use the same stuff on our roof vents and man it is the stickest stuff that we know that works, you do not show where you live so I cannot say where to go to buy other than Lowes or Home Depot they would sell but almost all RV dealers with a parts counter would sell this stuff to. I think Butyl sealar is the name of it and it is about 1" wide so perfect for the job when finished let it dry a bit then cut anything off sticking out.
