Extremely rare
U-Haul Vacation Traveler (VT)
fiberglass camper. Between 1985 and 1986,
U-Haul had a small fleet of rental campers. This is the larger of the 2 models of which there were only 52 made. Currently, the FB group of
U-Haul owners has a list of under 20 that are known to be owned. It is a highly sought-after camper.

My family has outgrown our "egg" and sadly will have to let it go.
There is a small dinette in the front that folds into a small bed.
A "privacy room", which is a small room that serves as a bathroom with a sink, and a small fold-up toilet, not a permanent, plumed toilet.
Kitchen area with Gas Stove, sink and (original) ice box.
The rear table also folds into a double size bed.
Surprising amount of storage space from closets and cabinets.
Air Conditioner (Coleman)
Solar panel on roof.
Extrememly
light weight fiberglass body.
It's in great shape, fairly original.
New
tires last year (one trip to Black Hills from Denver).
Cushions recently deep cleaned.
AC works great.
Original
tail lights intact!
Wiring recently repaired/replaced.
I replaced all suspect elevator bolts last year.
Heater turns on, but does not seem to ignite. Probably a pretty easy fix.
These campers are notorious for having leaky
windows. The
windows have a VERY minor leak, more minor than most it seems. Right now there is a small drip stain beneath one of the
windows. Has not posed a problem for us at all.
I've never used the plumbing system, neither did the previous owner. I'm pretty sure it needs some work.
Good condition retractable blinds, the accordion type.
Very original!
I have the screen door that came with it, never used it though. I even have the original fire extinguisher, ha!
We've had a great time with this camper and it has served us well every time we have used it.
Sad to sell, but hope it goes to someone that will appreciate the rarity and awesomeness.
