This 1973
Amerigo is a true classic. It can be compared to Scamps, Casitas and Burros, but this trailer stands out because it is more boxy and not like the traditional egg shell mold. It is still 84" wide, allowing for ample head room when laying cross-wise. It has a heavy duty frame with dual LP gas tanks. It has enough room to sleep 4 with a dining table that converts to a full size bed and a long sofa that has a slide-out section, making it wide enough for two (great for the kids!). It has a range/oven and
refrigerator which runs 110v or LP. There is a large closet convenient for storing all those miscellaneous camping items or for doubling as a bathroom if you want with a portable commode (not included). No shower in this model. The interior is built to last in solid woods, not particle board. The exterior does need a new gel coat and a couple spots that need minor
fiberglass repair. Wet
weight is 2050 lbs, dry around 1700 lbs, and tongue
weight at approx 350 lbs. It has a clean
title and the
registration is current. $4350 OBO. We hate to see it go, but just don't use it anymore so we want to pass on the fun and adventure to someone who can enjoy it. Located 15 minutes east of San Diego.
