SOLD!!! I posted before and after photos so NOBODY THINKS THAT I AM TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE.
We recently acquired a 1981 Fiber Stream that was gifted to us....It was in bad shape but had good things also. My wife and I went through the entire trailer and FIX EVERYTHING! We posted the trailer on this site recently. Apparently some guy looked at the trailer prior to us getting it. He took previous pic's when he looked at it. I guess the intention from him might have been to advise other of its shape prior to us renovating it. We were told by the lady that owned it that he took pictures and then decided he could not fix it so he didn't get it. Since we own a 1985 Fiber Stream our self and fixed it up completely before we knew that it was definitely salvageable. Frame work has been gone through and carpet pulled out and sub floor and flooring replaced, ceiling replaced, roof tar remove and entire roof resealed, no leaks and we live in Oregon where it rains. Window sealed and weep holes gone through. Tires are in good shape and tested after replacing, new air condition cover, new ceiling vent and interior roof reinforced and much, much more. Bottom line is we saved a trailer and it is now MORE then road worthy. I take great pride in my work and I have done everything possible to make this trailer safe and road worthy. So I am trying this site again in hopes that I answer ALL NAY SAYERS QUESTIONS. Thanks for looking my only hope is that it finds a good home and that someone appreciates all the time and effort it took to get her back on the road. A lot of money and time went into fixing this, so please feel free to ask questions and comment, I have many more pic's if there is a specific area you would like to see, we are proud of what we have done!
I see no reason you have to defend yourself. The trailer is worth what it is worth. And you put time and effort into it. What you originally paid for it has no bearing on any of this.
