This was funny to me, not sure about anyone else. I was at West Marine looking at some battery wiring. On the way back to my truck, I saw these geese walking around the parking lot next door at the OfficeMax. I took a few pictures of them and added the captions. Yes I lead a very boring life.

My son and daughter and my wife and I just bought two hogs to be butchered. One is a Hungarian Mangalica the other a Duroc. I called the Hungarian hog the Mandalorian and my kids corrected me. The hams and belly will be smoked as well as the jowls for jowl bacon. Looking forward to getting our pork. Jury is out on whether or not I can get the kids to help me make Czech headcheese called souse. I’d raise 50 chickens like I used to in the 80s but I’ve only got so much freezer space. And it’s not that long till deer season I can shoot 4 out to the farm for $30 total for licenses. Got plenty of powder and lead for the old smoke pole.
With garden and Amish bulk food I don’t see a problem in the near future.
Let me know if you want to go squirrel hunting after Labor Day. I’ll clean them if you can hit them.

You haven't lived until you have the idea to swing through town and drive by the historic state capital building on a trip and a black water tank bracket on one end decides to let go as you drive slowly along admiring the architecture.
So you are now driving down the road dragging a large black tank praying to get to a side street where maybe you can make an emergency repair without an audience of state troopers or sheriff or whomever guards such places watching your every move. 
The good news is you can use a winching cargo strap and some rope to tie the tank back up so it doesn't drag.  The bad news is not while it is as full as it is..... 
You know we really need to pack more buckets, and pitchers and disposable coolers (well disposable now). |
I’m trying to laugh silently so I don’t wake up my husband, but I think I need to go to the bathroom! I think I will have to read this again a few more times today just to get a good laugh!
