Alf, if Yogi were still around today you know what he'd say about the paper product aisle shelves--- "...it's so crowded nobody goes there anymore..."

A friend sent me this...

You wouldn’t believe what happened today. Being such a smart ass, which most of you know, I got kicked out of Harmon’s Grocery Store, and I’ve been banned from Harmon’s, our local grocery store. Yesterday, while waiting in line with a bag of dog food in my arms, the lady 6 ft behind me asked if I had a dog. I thought to myself, “well, yeah. I don’t think my elephant would eat dog food!” So, since I’m retired and we are all pinned down in these lines, on impulse I told her, “No. Since we are hunkered down right now, I have decided to try the dog food diet again. I’ve really let myself go of late and I need to take off some weight.” Puzzled, she said, “Oh. Haven’t heard of that one. How’s it work?” Now, clearly bored, I had everyone within 20 feet or so, intensely listening. “Well, I put a little of this kibble in each of my pockets and when I feel a little hungry, I eat a few. The food is essentially nutritionally complete so it works pretty well.” I could see faces frowning and people cringing. “The only problem is that the last time I did this, I did end up in the emergency room with IVs into several places. Not sure I want to end up there again, especially right now. But, well, I did lose 20 pounds so that was a big plus. I need that.” Horrified, the lady looked at me and asked, “Did you end up in the ER because the dog food poisoned you?” “Oh no,” I told her, “I stepped off the curb to sniff a Labradoodle’s bottom and a car going too fast hit me.” The guy in front of me had to sit on the floor because he was laughing so hard. The lady in the aisle over wet her pants. She had 5 bundles of toilet paper, so she’s ok. I thought for a second we’d have to call for help. The store manager escorted me out after taking my picture to post on the “Refuse Service” wall.
So, have a little fun while you are practicing self distancing - Laughter IS the best medicine!

We actually tried to roast peeps over the coals and whatever they are made of it ain't marshmallow.

The face my daughter made when taking a bite of a smore made from them was the funniest part of the short phone video I made of the attempt.

They don't really seem to cook at all, honestly they act more like the plastic rings from around canned beverages than food when roasted over the coals. And yes I have done the plastic in the fire on a stick back in my heathen youth. Now not so much.

And now for your musical interlude
