I am getting ready to restore a 1963 Trailorboat
that I have had for a few years. Other fun restoration projects have been in line first
. Now I am ready to start on it. It is in great shape already, no cracks, good frame, etc.
I am just planning on picking a color scheme and restoring it period correct. I would like to then loan it to the RV Hall of Fame Museum in Elkhart, Indiana. (only 1/2 hour from me) for a year or so and then probably sell it.
I was wondering if any of you have Photoshop talents that could show my Trailorboat
in various color combinations?
Also, I was wondering if anyone knows how many of the originals are left?
Mine does not have the original style taillights yet, but I will try to track some down.
I also need to make some oars for it.
Anyway, any help or information would be greatly appreciated. I love to restore old campers as a hobby (here is a photo of a 1966 DeCamp that I am just finishing up.
And, if I can post photos I'll show you the Trailorboat
with a car I created a couple of years ago called "The Spaceliner".
Thank you and have a great day.
