1980 Boler question

1980 Boler question

Is this model one piece with floor also fiberglass? Or is the floor wood?

I have a '78 1300 model that is one piece. Seems like read before 1978 was the last year they made them that way.

Thanks for any info.

Bama

Hi Bama and

I'm verily sure Boler never made a single piece, fiberglass floor, model. They were all plywood floors. However the floor may have been painted or even fibreglassed overtop of the wood. A look at the underside may show you. Is this trailer new to you? If so congratulations!
There seems to have been some modification to it. Larger roof vent and something added to the closet area, shown by the vent beside your door. Air Conditioning?

Cheers,

Hi Mark, this is actually not true. We have a 1978 and the whole bottom half (from the belly-band), including the floor, is one-piece molded fiberglass...no wood whatsoever and I'm glad. Really nicely done. Ours was built in the Calgary area plant.

You can have a look at some of the pics of ours as we're working on it actively, here.

ok - maybe I didnt ask this right....

Our 13' is 2 piece I guess. But the whole bottom piece is fiberglass. Floor and everything.

So - anyone know about the '80 models?

With that information being added it's important to note that Bolers were manufactured from a variety of facilities over the years. (This I'm sure of ) It's possible that wether it's fiberglassed underneth could depend on who the manufacturer was as well as the year. Sorry I still don't have a direct answer for your question but maybe someone with an 80 will pipe up. Or anyone else with fully fibreglass hulls too!

My '79 has a fiberglass floor and the '80 I have seen did too. Not sure if they all did though.
