Hi Steve. I have a
Bigfoot trailer, but have my eye on one of these as well (82 witht he R22), or perhaps in place of. Have you been out in yours? What do you think? I look at the engine size (2.4L) and the fact it is a manual transmission (I don't know if this one is the 4 or 5-speed yet) and wonder if there would be any problems with the
weight it would be carrying? I like your comment on "slow and hard to take side-trips". The one I'm peeking at has a lot of upgrades to the RV side of it - including
solar, batteries - but I'm not certain of the mechanicals yet. Since you have experience with the older Toyota MH's, what do you think of the Sunrader? I am an old(er) & retired, and am very happy with "slow" as long as that doesn't mean "too much work on the drive train" - mountains of BC! I am mechanically inclined and can do a lot of the routine stuff myself - and some of the not quite so routine as well), so I'm not afraid of an old vehicle (besides - it's a Toyota!!). Thanks for your insight. Cheers.
