20th Anniversary October 30th, 2013

Well, tomorrow is my 20th anniversary of getting my Scamp 13'. To celebrate the day a little early, she got another coat of wax (every few months anyway) and a camping trip to Lost Dutchman State Park near Apache Junction, AZ. Had great weather to enjoy camping with the windows open and enjoyed a great campfire, hiking, and relaxing under awning too. Here are some pictures from out campout. Here's to the next ????? how many years!

Hello Chris _ Nice to hear you had a good weekend.. Were you up there with the 'Arizona Round-up' group? I was planning on going until I found out there was no electric and I need it for my oxygen concentrator. Are you going to Buckskin first weekend of Dec? If so, stop by and say hi. I'l be up on the hill with a silver and blue Burro.

Great anniversary rememberance! I never thought I'd own my Scamp this long... 12 years. These things kinda grow on you long term!

Nice pictures.

I come from Arizona (Yuma) and only rarely get home. I took my 12 yo son and his friend home for Christmas, and we toured the desert from Yuma up to Quartzsite, across to the grand canyon, down through redrock canyon and back home. Lots of time spend in the California desert up by Picacho.

And of course December is the best time of year.

No, I wasn't with a group there. My site did not have electric hookup either as all of them were taken. At this State Park, the non electric sites are actually nicer with vegetation and some space in between campsites.

Work keeps getting in the way of my adventures, but, have to pay the bills too! Now that the AZ weather is great can't wait to get back out there with the Scamp!

No, just there for one night over the weekend. I live here in AZ, down in Sun Lakes. I love just getting out to our local State and Regional Parks whenever I can.

Congrats, your obsession with wax has paid-off well. That trailer looks GREAT! I know how much work it is to keep the gellcoat nice and you deserve accolades!
