$30 Memory Foam (5") Full Mattress for those looking for more comfort.

We are going to be heading out for a couple of months in our Scamp this winter, and wanted to get the bed comfort squared away. Planned on slapping in a 2-3" foam topper, but found that Zinus is clearing out their 5" Full Size Biofusion Mattress's for $31 shipped to your door. Best deal we have seen by a long shot for all options we considered. Thought I would share with you fellow Campers. Not sure how long the deal will last. Use an electric knife to "Cut" the shape using the cushions as a template, and double sided iron on patches to re-secure the cover.

Deal-

Mattress features the latest evolution of memory foam – BioFoam, which replaces some of the traditional petroleum with natural plant oil to help keep your mattress fresh.

Foam is CertiPUR-US certified for content.

Smartly shipped - Our patented technology allows our mattresses to be compressed, rolled, and shipped in a box conveniently to your door.

Standard mattress size dimensions at optimal decompression:

Full: 75" X 54" X 5", 34.5 lb

19 day delivery est to my location. Hope you get it in time.

Some bad reviews on Amazon including complaints of long lasting smell and its more a topper than a mattress, but fair overall.

I don't have this one, but I own two Zinus mattresses (twin xl, 8", and cot, 6") and neither had an odor, both are quite comfortable, especially the 8.

Yea, we have three Zinus now in all our spare bedrooms. They maybe smell for the first afternoon. Otherwise. all are fairly comfortable given the price. Never tried a 5", i'm sure it will pale in comparison to our thicker models, but should be loads better than the dinette cushions.

We have never spent more than 3 nights in any of our Scamps, so 3 months with our Golden Retriever, Wife and I in that bed should be interesting. The 3 of us usually wake up in a tangled mess anyway, so shouldn't be too bad.

Bulk and weight may be too much to handle.
We had a 2" memory foam pad with muslin cover, added on top of the standard cushions in our Scamp 16' DLX.
It was a real chore to shift into or out out of the Scamp, any time you want to get into the storage spaces under the side benches.

You don't even have to use an electric knife; I use a serrated bread knife. Electric may work better, but I don't own one.

I have also used scissors, but that is trickier.

Good luck; a nice topper can make things cushier!

BEST
