In our
Egg Camper. First long trip with it. We wandered around in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado sticking to two lane roads. From Colorado back to Michigan we did take I-80. Hated to do that but we had an appointment to get to. A piece of advice: if you're on U.S.2 in North Dakota don't plan on overnighting anywhere near Williston unless you like Camp Walmart because every campground/RV park for a hundred miles or more is jam-packed full for at least a hundred miles because there is an oil boom going on. They're all full of oil workers. In addition, the oil companies have built a lot of smallish trailer parks and pre-fab dormitories for their employees. Back to the
Egg Camper: it worked perfectly for our mode of travel. We had two nights with temps in the 30s. Being all electric, we had no heat so we shivvered. Stopped in Sidney, Nebraska at Cabela's main store and bought a catalytic heater so we should have no issues like that in the future. Saw a bunch of Scamps, Casitas, etc but didn't count them. Saw several that I couldn't identify.
