A Date With My Wife

Feeling like adventure, I turn to my wife and say, "Hey hon, lets to the Pick and Pull and see if we can't find some nice rims for the trailer". I know, I know,... I am such a romantic! I guess she doesn't get out much, because she quickly agrees.

After paying our $1 each admission, we did not find any suitable rims. So, we went exploring the lot. I found a camper van with exactly the same fridge as the one in our Trillium, and she found a couple of Firefly's. One of them had a couple of good tires and my wife set about taking them off. One of the wheels came off after using another rim to hit it with, but the other did not want to come off. So we got our stamp, (no way we pay another $1 admission), went for lunch, check on the kids, and tools. We did not get back till 4PM and they close at 5PM, so we didn't have much time. I went after the fridge, and she went after the offending wheel, and she was mad. I had no doubt that she would soon have it.

A Ryobi wrecking saw and an electric screw driver were all required to get the fridge out. There was the big mouse nest, but after that was gone the job got easier. We both succeeded at our chosen task. I will spare you pictures of Firefly tires, but attached are some snaps of the fridge, at $25, it is worth it just for parts, It will take up space though.

I love it when couples share their passion.
