A new folding table for potlucks

Not sure if this is the right forum, but for what it is worth, take a look the Lee Valley folding aluminum table. They legs look to be much more sturdy than our cheap CW table, and we are going to buy the XJ260 ($69.00) after Christmas. It has cross-braced legs, all aluminum frame, and a slick "leveling leg" on one leg bottom. You can get three legs to stabilize on any table, but this one adjustable leveling leg will always stablize on all four legs.

We have been using one for three years now and it works great. No problems yet.

Looks very nice, sturdy too. It say's it only folds down to 48"L but 5"Hx7"W. Looks like it should fold in half? Having trouble visualizing how the black frame compacts. If it does fold in half I'll grab one too.

I purchased the Broadstone folding table as an impulse. It was 30% off ($35) at Canadian Tire. Great price and though compact and ultra light the surface is so flimsy it sags under the weight of my coleman stove. Link, w/bad reviews that I should have read. Broadstone Long Folding Table | Canadian Tire.

If inclined the surface could be replaced.

I picked up one a couple of years ago and use it for my barbeque and coleman stove. It has no problems holding this amount of weight.

This is the primary use for ours as well. Super handy, even if you have a picnic table as well. We have had ours for 3 years, and it gets set up quite often.
