A very cool item

This A/C looks interesting. Very portable and unobtrusive. Too bad it's only available in Europe.
Or has anybody seen these on our side of the pond?

Looks like the mini split system we have in our house, just smaller and portable.
The compressor unit goes outside, the evaporator unit goes inside. But, you need a swing out window with soft seals to fit the tubing. A sideways sliding window like in the Scamps may not open far enough to let you pass the unit through. the connecting tubes must not be disconnected at any time or you would lose refrigerant.

Looks real small to provide cooling to anything but a larger teardrop.
From the specification page:

Cooling capacity:
2,400 Btuh - 700 watts cooling.
That's 1/2 the cooling capacity of the average window a/c, many of which don't keep 13' FGRV's cool.

This looks more in the range of the dog house a/c units we have seen.

I'll pass! Too many downsides. Won't work with the style of Windows on our boler and I don't want to leave a window left open to let our N American skeeters in. Besides, how many North American trailer manufacturers make a model that provides a 230volt circuit or inverter feature..
Call for pricing.

These portable AC units are popular and available here. This might be a better and easier way to go, dunno. See what you think.

Most of the "Portable" a/c units are very large for use in an FGRV and all require an outside vent of some sort. And, when you aren't using it, it's still using floor space.
