We just purchased a small Airstream with the floor plan that we wanted all along. Thanks for everyone's help on the fiberglass side search for our first trailer. I apologize if my questions seemed trivial at times.

It was looking enviously at my neighbor's Airstream that made me start looking for a trailer... I have a soft spot for Airstreams because our neighbors on Whidbey had one for many years.
Here's an idea... make a really big mould off of the Airstream, use it to build a fiberglass shell, mount the shell on the Airstream frame and fill it with all of the Airstream's interior! Then you have the desired size and floorplan features, without the million rivets!
Just kidding, of course. Zeb has systematically considered the alternatives, and given us some food for thought in the process. The choice is not one of "ours", but having that choice is important.

and if you can't afford the paint job you could wrap it in tinfoil....hey, I think I have a halloween costume idea for my trailer since we plan on camping the weekend of the 27th..... ;-)
