We have more tacky roadside attractions here than you can count

A selection of beauties from Alberta:

World's largest Perogy – on a fork no less! (Glendon, Ab)
World’s largest Baseball
World's largest Beaver (Beaverlodge, Ab)
Starship Enterprise and Vulcan Tourist and Trek Station in … Vulcan, Ab of course!
World's largest Pysanka (Vegreville, Ab)
World's largest bee (Falher, Ab)
U.F.O. landing pad (St. Paul, Ab)
World’s largest Sundial (Lloydminster, Ab)

We love our strange things…

Hi Sugar, I dont know if You've already done this trip or maybe you're still on it and have access to this forum but this was on today's home page of MSN: It's titled "Really Big Things You Can't Miss" and has 14 things which I've never seen/heard of. Look forward to pix of your "All Things Tacky Tour". If you get to "The Largest Egg" you have to take a pix of your Scamp with it.

thanks mellissa, Miss Donna suggested to do a blog for the review, I do not really know what a blog is let alone how to do it, the trip was great and Maybe i could post a few pi'cs at a time. Minn. was cool, but the Loon was in the "Loon Hospital" it was sinking. I see you do not have a fiberglass trailer listed, maybe when I have this second one finished you could come to tn and buy it. I did see a few eggs on the Minn trip, but you would of thought after traveling 3936 miles in 20 days I would have seen more than 4! Heck I did go to Backus, and they only had 3 used ones on the lot.

Ya, I'm not too familiar with Blogs as far as setup goes either although I do like to read them. They have used trailers in Backus? I didnt know they took trades. What size trailer are you working on? With 4 of us we want the 16' model with front bunks and the side bath. Looking to purchase probably next summer.

Thanks!

Melissa

Suger,
As I native Minnesotan I like camping no later than mid May and no earlier than mid October, this to avoid the worst bug times. That said I go anytime I can get away. If you want to see Tacky, try to save thursdays to do any local garage sales.
