Take a look at this little beauty for those "minimalists" at heart!

Someone on the forum bought one of those not too long ago. I can't remember the name, but I think it had something like "compact" in it. There was a thread on it then. Pretty cute.

Raya

PS: Here is a photo of it I saved. I had named the photo "compacttear"

It's called a Teardrop American. The first post (post-hack) started on Nov 14 2006, 07:28AM.

Here's the topic: Teardrop American started by Paul Paschink

Yes but Raya, if you look closely your photo is not the same trailer as the OP and the Teardrop American posted by Donna.

It may very well also be a Teardrop American but the doors, back end and belly band are very different.

So is it in fact another brand of teardrop that we don't have in the Albums yet?

Edit: OK I just checked the Albums and neither are in there anyway. Is that bacause the Teardrop was made from polyethelene plastic?

I understood that the Compact Tear was molded fiberglass (I had thought that the one the fellow bought - which is the one I had the photo of - and the one Joe showed might be the same mold but with different accents).

The Teardrop American is something like polyethylene, I think.

I'll have to dig up that thread wherein the fellow bought the one I posted, so we can compare (I think he had more photos)....

The photo is Of a compact Not a Teardrop American. The compact is a fibreglass unit .
The T A is polly. The op has a very nice example of a Teardrop American. I will add him to my list Of T A owners . Nice Pod!!!!!!!!!

Aha, okay, I finally get it. I guess I spent too much time wielding powertools overhead this weekend! Duh!

So, okay, the teardrop posted by Joe, who started this thread, is a Teardrop American, and is "poly," and not molded fiberglass. The photo I posted is a Compact Tear and is molded fiberglass; but they are not the same.

Sorry! Going to my room now!

Okay, I found the previous thread that I was thinking of, and it is a "CamPact" teardrop, and is molded fiberglass. (Not the one that Joe posted in the beginning of this thread, which I think has been determined is a poly/plastic Teardrop American; but instead the one I was thinking of.)

There is also another thread linked to in the linked thread (whew!).
