Hello, John. Welcome to the forum from another Scamp 13 owner.

I do not know about other Scamps in the UK, but I do know that lots of us here would sure like to see photos of your trailer and also of the scenery from any of your travels. Please tell us about the festivals. Hope you have a wonderful travel season.

Wow! How did your Scamp reach the UK? Via US service personnel?

how it got here????

no idea, got of a guy for £40 never found out how he got it,it was in very poor condition green inside and out but cleaned up well.i think he said it was something to do with the forces and the guy could not afford the shipping costs to bring it home so lucky me. spent a bit on it now, i have had it 8 years and still spending, bought some bits from scamp but the shipping costs were more costly than the bits!!

all the best john

Welcome to FGRV, John! You got yourself a deal on that Scamp, and I'm glad it's found a good home-away-from-home.

Welcome to the forum. Until now, I thought that all small fibreglass caravans in UK are made to fly:

Yours is solidly grounded, it seems, and having equally good time.

Thats so interesting.
Good job you gave me a heads up because I probably would have peed myself in excitement when I was over there on vacation if I had saw it!
Last place I would have expected to see a Scamp.

Welcome. Let us know how having the door on the street side works out for you. That alone should attract attention.

Will the passing traffic help to keep it closed?

I say this only because I have to keep mine secured with a string. It is easier and cheaper than replacing the strike plate, or the whole door lock.
