Anyone have a clue what this is?

Greetings everyone. During the wee hours I came across this sad looking thing in my web surfing. Anyone have a clue what the heck it is?

Some sort of fiberglass houseboat. Note the marine numbers below the belly band and it looks like a "porch" off the back.

ON EDIT:

I just found it. It's a 1973 SHIP-A-SHORE COMBO CRUISER. See this website for more info, about half-way down the page: http://www.woodyboater.com/blog/2013...uiser-on-ebay/

Donna you ROCK!!!!!!

I was thinking it fell in the " trailerable camper/houseboat" category like the Lil Hobo by Catamaran Cruiser.

It is neat. And if it never, ever went back in the water it would be totally cool to have a "travel trailer" with a built in deck and awning.

Wanna take on a project? It would sure be an attention-getter in a campground, even if you never put it in the water!

If you REALLY want an attention-getter, you could buy this one, and it's actually for sale right now:

I'd buy it only if I owned the Decoliner and towed with that!

That looks line a typical current Alabama registration (leading "AL" followed by four numbers then two letters), and if I recall, Alabama converted from a 3-digit to 4-digit number about 10 years ago (most boat owners were able to just add a leading zero to make the conversion, "123" became "0123"). If that's all correct, then someone in Alabama went to the trouble and expense of registering it in the past 10 years. It's worth noting, that in Alabama anyway (don't know where else), the boat registration also covers the trailer that it's on, so no need for a separate license plate on the boat trailer. All that aside, it would be a show-stopper on land or sea, for sure....

Kinda cool! One thing some boats and the RVs we like have in common is fiberglass. The Parkliner I am looking at and others as well like the Lil Snoozy use some marine technology. I would love to see a house boat version of the Parkliner. Sounds like a project for the guy who created the Decoliner! That sure would open up a lot more camping possibilities!
