The ranger is coming back next year. I've been thinking of one of those with a scamp 19. I just hate to pay the new price for anything.

For anyone who is unaware, those “Ford” 10 speed transmissions were a joint effort between Ford and GM. Ford is putting them in their trucks; GM is putting it in the Camaro.

Hi: Mike Magee... Wasn't it Ford that had the problem with "Jumpy" trannies in the '80's. Caused a few rolling crashes when supposed to be in park.

They shared R&D . Each produces its own separate version using the resultant technology. The proof, it is said, is in the putting.
Consider Bendix brake technology of the1930s.

I have the new 10 speed, and unfortunately it is part of the recall for the cable clip. I've had no issues however. Generally it's hard to tell when the truck shifts now that I have more gears. Towing is superb with it.

You might get a couple months of Sirius Radio for free, after you get your cable clip checked!

Yea. That’s what I said. It was a joint effort.
