Interior

There is no flooring in the prototype yet and no shower pan either. Nicholas' order hasnt arrived yet for the materials to finish the shower. The table was lying on the rear QUEEN bed so we could see how the jacknife sofa worked. You can have any size table you want. We're actually going to have 3 since they are lightweight, one small, med and large. They are made from the cutouts for the windows and doors making them extremely light. The toilet is a cassette toilet so no stinky slinky for those who dislike the dump process. Nicholas is trying to get thetford to add some sort of dump valve for those who want to attach the stinky slinky to the sewer connectio but not sure if that will happen. It's a very nice "grown up" potty, doesnt look like a toy and supports my 250 lb hubby. He also can stand upright in the shower.

The new plant is going to be georgeous! Very efficient. They will be able to crank out 2 molds a day. Right now they are being molded by somebody else till the plant is running which will hopefully be in 2 weeks or there abouts. My mold will come from the same place the other 4 prototypes came from and will be finished at the old location possibly in order to meet my Jun deadline.

Well it does look better with windows and graphics, but I'm still seeing a boat trailer under the body.

Yes Greg, that is exactly what is is. The prototype isnt sitting on a galvanized steel trailer but the productions models will. I have pix of a "naked" trailer frame with the axle, suspension etc, just taking me time to get these pix loaded.

They all look like boat trailers of some sort under the bodies...

Cool Melissa! I'm not totally enamoured with the black graphics... looks like tire skid marks to my tired eyes and that black door, but if you like it... that's ALL that matters!

Donna, maybe you could get different colors, that would be a change. When I was at Quartzite every Casita looked the same. Colors would be good.

Galley Pix

Notice the opening Galley window! Great for passing out hot dog buns, drinks etc to keep traffic down in the trailer. We had 3 adults and 2 children in this trailer and were not bumping into one another. Shoot, another person could have stood in the bathroom, LOL. This prototype ways 1800 lbs with a tounge weight of 250. All the weight is at the rear of the trailer. Where you just barely see the electric skillet is where a 2 burner propane stove can go. This is Nichola's trailer and prefers to cook with electric burner and skillet.

Melissa, nice lookin trailer. Looks like they have a window at the bed and outside storage under it. I also like the swing up window, its just a big awning style which is nice in the rain. Thanks for sharing.

Yes it is but also there will be an awning on the side and one on the back with a connecting zip in piece in case it's raining so you dont get wet going from the back to the side and reverse.

melissa----I think it is GREAT! I think I like it better than the Egg Camper! Love the bed area. Glad you persevered and went to see it! Hope our paths cross sometime--I'd love to see this in person.

Last Ones

You can see the small table compared to my 8 y/o and the bed size with her on it. The airplane is what Nicholas will use to fly to your location for small warranty repairs if necessary. How cool is that???? 3 yrs on the Fiberglass then standard warranty by manufacturer for appliances.

Looks great, Melissa. I bet it is hard to wait. Kevin just uncovered the trailer yesterday. I just had to run out to see if we could tell what our Chirstmas-present custom wheel cover looked like. You have to wait for the whole thing.
I hope I get to see it at a rally one of these days.

CindyL

PS: What is the height?

The power cord is a marine style you can stow anywhere you want rather than it eating up space stuffing it back in somwhere and also letting in buzzing things. You can get run flat tires too but we opted not to b/c of availability at this point.

Nicholas and his Dad Robert are the nicest folks you've ever met. Answered every question, showed us how the shell was constructed, some foam core/fiberglass thingy, lol. Hubby understood all that stuff I was more interested in the function. They showed me e'thing that will go into mine pretty much like the stove, fridge (ours will be 3-way), tankless water heater etc. They are doing window blinds and we've added an extra window, bunks etc. Also, you cant pop the hinge pins to remove the door either. You can get either wood flooring or vinyl if you think it's too much wood. We havent decided yet. There will be a fantastic Fan too. All the usual, water pump, furnace converter etc.....I'm so tired, I didnt sleep at all last night. Between a strange bed and an A/C that kept shutting off in the hotel it was miserable. I cant think of anything at the moment but I'm sure there is more to add. We are so excited and cant wait for our trailer to be ready! Finally, one that sleeps 4 comfortably and still has a usable bath and can be towed with my minivan.

Let the questions begin!! At least for as long as I can stay awake, LOL!
