Move to or camp in an area with a cooler / colder climate and you will soon learn to appreciate the benefits of a double bed and an electric blanket .

We purchased a 16' Freedom Deluxe where the previous owner had converted the captains chairs to a twin size bed using the stands from the captains chairs as support. I took an Ikea bunk bed, cut it down to size, and attached it on top of the twin size bed. It's stable enough to hold me at 165lbs on the top bunk.

However, I am not sure I'd like to commit to such an expense at this point, hence trying to collect info about older models that may work.
Not sure how old you are willing to look at but a Boler 1700 has two double beds, a kitchen and a bathroom. One bed is made by folding down the 4 person dinette and the other is a couch that converts to a bed. Without to much work I coverted the couch into bunk beds very similiar to original 1300 Bolers. This freed up more floor space.

Best Trailer for four with a bathroom?

Well in your first post you asked if there was something new coming on the market. There is a brand new 1 piece 23ft fiberglass trailer in production right now. It sleeps four and has a bathroom. It is being made by Northern Lite. The first one just came off the line. This from the Northern Lite Facebook.

Getting closer to production! We just pulled this body for our new one-piece Boreal 23FB trailer an hour ago!
Windows still need to be cut in etc. The body will be available in two-tone as well.
The Boreal will be available through a Northern Lite dealer near you in January!

You can learn more about the Boreal at: https://bit.ly/3aIRGgD

And sister company Escape Trailer Industries also has a 23' coming to the market. Coincidence? I think not.
