Very different to the US and Canada, very rugged Trailers with what appears to be truck suspensions. all composite bodies. Vast number of manufacturers, these are everywhere

OK, so not in the market for a FGRV as we know them. Always cool to read about other sorts of trailers though, relevant or not.

Australian contributions to the US RV scene is not Fibreglass trailers but electronic devices by Redarc and others Bmpro who supplies Jayco with their electronic management system

But how long do they really last?
I know of no sticky that lasts as long as the fiberglass campers here.

Another
When Jayco can get back to building a reliable camper I'll listen. We're now on our 17th camper over the years and the only ones that were reliable were all fiberglass.
You seem to be trolling.
Enjoy,
Perry

They are not" stiicky' they are composite which includes metal composites. Caravans are being towed around in Australia that were built in the 1960's.. We know US caravans or trailers are very poorly built, they disintergrate here
Fibreglass Eggs do not last in Australia.Effects of Southern Hemisphere Ultra Violet Radiation and changing preferncesThey were popular in the 1950's and mid 1960's. As a whole they were a bit bigger than a Scamp, Sunliner as I have posted before is the best known manufacturer

So again, what is your interest in our poorly built FGRVs?

If you aren't trolling, then I think you have found yourself in the wrong forum. Why not try Exp Portal https://expeditionportal.com/forum/ The non-FGRVs that you like to post about might be more relevant there.

Hey, I've never seen a Sunliner before; very handsome 'egg'. Is the solar UV really stronger in the Southern Hemisphere?
I'm interested in the very formidable-looking Australian RVs. Are they really as rugged as they look? I get ads from EarthCruiser truck-based RVs, which are pretty cool (and now also built in the USA). Not that I have any need (or the $$$) for them.

Well sir rhank you for the reply. Yes UV in the Southern Hemisphere is lethal. Hole in the Ozone layer is in the Southern Hemisphere..
You can have an Earthcruiser delivered in the US. as there is a factory in the US building them also there is an Australian caravan company called Kimberley Kampers bas an outlet in the US
As far as other aspects of the Australian RV industry that would have require a book to explain.

So it had nothing to do with the topic at hand. That's what trolls do, deflect.
This thread is about "Bigfoot 25RQ or Escape 21C". Rather than hijack the thread why don't you start your own.
Perry

Basically difficult as my basic premise was what US nanufacturer produced a similar quality Fibreglass unit to those two.Canadian manufacturers
Yes I could talk about the Travelhome moulded firbreglass 5th wheel 29ft
What is " Composite"? Somehow people would be confused as they do not exist in the US and Canada. Classic Fibreglass Caravans from Australia could be a topic
