Not that I mind physical labor, but if I'm camping, I'm on vacation.

But what was a bit offputting was the unspoken snobbery on the HH website. Tents and popups were verboten. Your rig must be self contained, and while my Casita is that, still, it's no RV. Not even close. I would probably have to endure some raised eyebrows and muffled snickering from other '''campers'''. maybe I'm wrong. I would like to think so, but I remember in the first few years of owning my 2011 Casita, I got a lot of "looks" from people who had gigantic road boats, and one woman actually said out loud, 'do you really LIVE in that tiny thing? Or is it just a fancy kennel for your dog?"

I wanted to go bite her on the leg...but I didn't know if she'd had her shots. ;-)
She would have deserved it, too!

Actually, while 'RV' is sometimes used for motor homes, it stands for Recreational Vehicle, which includes both self-propelled motor homes and trailers, so your Casita is definitely an RV, too.

On our family trips, the first one to ask that got the booby prize.
