I concur that Apache had the best price and good customer service. Also the ‘crappy Coleman’ works just fine and is significantly quieter than the older Dometic. Wouldn’t Grant put the recpro in for an extra cost at the factory ?
Anyway, once you get through the rather odd dealer you’ll find the trailer is excellent

After 2 weeks of getting quotes from the dealership on options and prices the slot assigned to us was Oct. So immediately grab a slot, then find out prices. Many of our options were on-off types ie we wanted a second max fan near the dinette where we had eliminated the skylight. The dealer immediately deferred to Grant and we got a price several days later. Generally, the dealer stepped aside with most of our options and let Grant directly answer us if an option was feasible and the cost. Our dealer was copied on every communication.

Grant was fabulous at responding to us. We asked him in early Sept if our trailer was in progress. He told us it would be another month. The dealer does not get that level of communication. We basically knew when our trailer would be completed from Grant. The dealer just knows that the trailer is done and it is time to schedule shipping.

Apache Trailer had the lowest prices of the 3 dealerships we contacted. They are a high volume, low overhead dealership. We ordered our 21RB blind. We had never seen a Bigfoot in any form either trailer or camper. When enquiring on various forums there were none near the AZ for viewing. We are exceedingly happy with our Bigfoot. It is lightyears better quality than our 2018 Escape 19 or our 1986 Casita Spirit Deluxe.
Glad to hear you are enjoying your Bigfoot. We were able to see a larger one a few months ago and we’re impressed by what we saw . They are very hard to find sitting around so you have to jump when one is available to see. I saw a 21’ going down the highway a few days ago close to where we live , I believe that’s one of the first I’ve noticed . We anxiously waiting on getting our 5thwheel sold before stepping into ordering a Bigfoot. We too will delete the living room skylight for a additional fan . Any issues with your camper ?

We have owned our 21RB for 6 months now, most of that in Mexico at an RV park near Puerto Vallerta. The Mexico toll roads are not the smoothest and the suspension on this trailer is amazing. We towed our Escape 19 to the same area 3 different times and the torsion axle did not handle these roads very well, we bent one. The BF is very sturdy with shocks and leaf springs, items inside are not tossed around as they were with our Escape.

No problems of any kind with our 21RB. A side note...we had jet engine loudness out of our Dometic AC on our Escape trailer, it was awful. We asked Grant to install a RecPro AC unit and he stated he does not do business with RecPro. We would get a Coleman Mach AC unit instead. The Coleman 13,500 BTU AC comes standard with a soft start built in and is very quiet. We are pleased with the AC stock item.

Good to know about your good experience so far with your camper. Do you know if Coleman has changed the design of the a/c ? We have 3 of the low profile Coleman a/c units in our 5thwheel which is a2020 model . They start the fan before the compressor comes on so it’s a easier start . We have changed one so far as it lost its charge under warranty but just barely. We were told the Coleman units have changed but are interested in the RecPro Houghton units.

He begrudgingly did. He seriously had an attitude. Like we both already know, he sure is “Johnny on the spot“ when he’s trying to get that sale and making promises and says things but he doesn’t really mean them. I don’t really know how Grant and the Bigfoot team select these dealers but I’m a bit surprised that such an awesome product would have a dealer like this. I mean, this is a lot of money to be treated like a piece of crap, anyway, we’re just ready to get it and move on. We plan to stay overnight in the hotel the day before pick up since we are about four hours away and then we will do a “shakedown“ camp nearby. Glad you elected to go with a different dealer. Three weeks ago my husband and I were saying that we wanted to add a Truma hot water heater but we didn’t even bother calling because we just don’t wanna deal with this guy and we will just deal with the regular hot water heater. That’s pathetic. Be glad you will be going with a dealer in Colorado. I wish we would have. Best regards.

Any updates on your build ? I hope you have gotten it by now and enjoying it .

Anyone know if Daisy RV in Marble Falls Texas is still a Bigfoot dealer ? They have changed their website and it doesn’t mention Bigfoot that I can see . I also looked on Bigfoot website and there is no mention of this dealership anymore. I didn’t get very good vibes from them when I visited them months ago . Probably glad I wasn’t ready to order anything.

I don’t think so. Trailerworld in Denver and Apache in Oregon and Washington had much better prices than they did. I’d recommend both. (We bought from Apache)
