Business good at Scamp

We stopped by the Scamp factory in Backus a few days ago as it was near our path. I like the new door handles but I don't think you can retrofit an old door without replacing the whole door.
The delivery date for new orders is now July 1, 2019.

It's the other way around... the grass is invading the gravel lot.

"Business is Good", this is true for Scamp, but a one year wait for the customer is not. It's too bad Casita stopped building their 13 ft. trailers they would put a dent in Scamp's sales as Casita can produce your trailer in a 3-4 month period. Looks like there is room in the industry for another fiberglass trailer manufacture.

Yeah, when I ordered mine the end of Feb, I was told the delivery date would be the end of Nov, beginning of Dec. It was also explained that they had hired 20 new employees to try to speed up the output, so that date COULD be sooner. A couple of weeks ago, I got a call confirming my order, and was told that my Scamp will be entered into the fall production schedule, to be started on Sept 17th. They said it normally takes 4 to 6 weeks to complete, once started, so that means I'm now looking forward to a trip to Backus around the end of Oct or first half of Nov.

As long as I get in time for my Florida respite from our Michigan winters.
