In the last 10 years I have driven as far as 1000 miles to buy an Egg
I've bought, refurbished and
sold many since I retired 10 years ago.
I just
sold my 82 13"
Scamp to a young couple from Georgia who were visiting their parents in Sacramento.
This is the first Egg I've
sold to someone who lives 3000 miles away.
They were the first call I had after listing it on Craigslist last Sunday and bought it sight unseen.
I was going to tell them about this group.
Much to my surprise they had a FGRV buyers guide.
Brent was underneath, on top and gave the trailer a very thorough going over.
It passed, as they didn't have any complaints.
They said they've been lurking here for awhile and all of the satisfied comments were what made them decide on an Egg.
They're on their way home to Georgia from Bakersfield Ca.
When the join they will have about 3000 miles of towing their new to them
Scamp under their belts.
When they officially join I hope everyone will give Brent, Karen and their little dog a big welcome as they usually do.
