Is there a "buy now" price for it as well?

I'm wondering why this was moved out of the classifieds and into General Chat? Wouldn't people looking to buy a trailer, look in the classifieds

Because it is not for sale as long as it is listed on Ebay, if you want to buy it you must bid on it. You can not sell it elsewhere before the listing ends.

IMHO it should still be the classifieds - As it is actual for sale but on E-bay. which the poster has given a link to.

With all that wood in the 'custom interior' I seriously doubt it weighs 'only' 900lbs...

13' 1989 Scamp Rare on e-bay

I was so glad to see your pictures, as I have a 1990 13' Scamp IDENTICAL to yours, and have been told by people at rallies that Scamp never made one like this. I think someone has told you a "story" about the interior being redone, as ours is identical to yours except for what ever was added to the entry door, and the catalytic heater. We used to have a 1984 13' foot scamp with the front bunk/couch, and all fiberglass cupboards, and it was much lighter than our present wood interior one.
Happy Trails.

I have never seen a fridge vent straddle the belly band. Is that something Scamp might have done or is that home brew?

David, I thought I had seen a Scamp with that layout before but when I went to the Scamp site it wasn't there. Then I thought I was recalling an owner mod. Looks like it is a discontinued production model after all. Thanks for confirming it. Raz

An auction is still a sale. I to think that it should be in the for sale section or at least in the referrals. There are too many posts these days in the wrong catagories not being correctly placed.

I totally agree.. No way in heck it weighs only 900 lbs. From everything that I've read on this site it is way more than that. I am going to bid on it this evening, but see how high it starts to get. That fridge isn't looking too healthy, and I would want to replace it. But I have no problem fixing her up if I get it! This is also one of my favorite floor plans, they have tons of storage space.

We saw this Scamp in person before the current owner bought it a few weeks ago. At the time the price was $5000 and later that week they dropped it to $4395 firm. We passed on it; it did have tons of storage but there are four of us and it was far too small, and we really wanted a dedicated bathroom. FYI, it appears the vent was taken out and replaced with some sort of plexiglass functioning as a skylight.

Thanks for the heads up. That vent did look funky in the pics, but it was hard to tell what was going on with it.
