Calling All Cadet N126 owners

Just curious how many Cadet owners are there in Canada/ Us?
Anyone know how many units were shipped to and sold in Canada?
Any know from what time period they were shipped to Canada?

Just trying to find out a bit more about these unique little guys!

I once owned one of these (A long time ago).
If I recall ...I had found an article at the time claiming that a builder in Canada produced a very small number of these under license from Predom, Using the name Cadet maybe as few as 100-120 units.

I can't actually substantiate this as I am only relying on memory and rumors.

Here is an interesting site....

I have one! Bought it here on Vancouver Island in the spring. I am Renoing it and just found this label under on the fibreglass that I can’t make out- can anyone?
The outside of my Cadet says “Nical Industries”, which I believe was the Canadian importer.

I just bought one! Basically a shell, already gutted, but perfect for a winter project. Now I just need to wrap my head around the prices I will have to pay for parts...

Cadet in Canada

I bought one during COVID out of Quebec. It needed a window. After researching I leaned that they used to import and sell them in a small town near Ottawa. They referred me to a Plc in Netherlands for parts. It was the cast wasn't as outrageous as I thought.

Awesome! I am actually further along now, I bought replacement side windows from Poland along with some other odds and ends, and I am changing the front and back windows to something a bit smaller to get more cabinet space out of it. It's getting painted right now at my brother's, and we made some changes to the frame to fit a step and a water tank below the frame. Can't wait to share progress and pictures here!
