Thats a good price, even without the wind panels, but how much is the levitation option?

Does it have a floor? With no floor, bugs hiding in grass or weeds get trapped INSIDE.

When in doubt refer to the post instead of the thread title. The post can be edited by the OP to correct typos. The thread title cannot.

Clam clone vs Clam

Thanks for letting us know. We were just looking at Clams, and comparing to other quick-set-up Gazebos. Amazon's Clam sells for $300, and $40 for (3) additional privacy panels. Seems like it would be nice to have these privacy panels on-hand,
I wonder how similar the Clam Clone is to the real Clam, and if the Clam panels could be used on the Clone. That would make the Clone more attractive to buy.
Any idea ?

FWIW Last year ALDI had a Clam clone for just over $100 in the spring to June time frame. A lot of their weekly specials usually cycle every year. Theirs did not have the extra panels. I have no idea if they will have it this year but it was the best price I have seen on a screen room.

Dude, clam down.

Here's another one on Amazon for $199 that has good reviews:

I went to 5 different Aldi stores last year, looking for the Clam-like screen tent on the day they went on sale, and none of the stores had them. Not sure if they immediately sold out, or never had them in stock.

We got one of those Aldi "clams" we paid $99 plus tax and we love it. Just used it this past week at Huguenot Campground in Jacksonville and so glad we did as the "no see ums" were bad several days. I will buy another one if they sell them again this year

FYI...it looks like privacy panels are available direct from Lightspeed's website

Good for privacy and wind but not rain. Drops will sneak through the gap. Adding the Clam rain fly on top might solve the problem.

Every time I read the thread title in the, "Recent Discussions" window, (yes I know it was corrected later) I picture an early Star Wars storm trooper kicking back and taking a nap, at Costco. I'm a bit of a geek.

I was actually thinking of one kicking back drinking a Pan-Galactic-GargleBlaster wearing Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses!

Clams?

Wow I am learning a lot today. The only kind of clams I knew about you had to dig for. Here are some I got down at the south end of my farm.

I bought a virtual clam at Menards 5 years ago and it is still in great shape. So easy to get up and down! I bought 6 ft x 6 ft vinyl lined canvas painters tarps the perfectly fit on each panel. I attach them inside with safety pins when it's raining.
