Talking Camp Hosts Needed Immediately!

Hello,

I work with the Fort Langley National Historic Site and we are in need of campground hosts immediately. We are looking for people to volunteer from 2 - 4 weeks at a time (even longer if available), to greet and provide assistance and information to our overnight guests. Camp hosts are provided with water and electrical hookups, as well as an opportunity to meet people from around the world and learn about Canada's history. If you are interested in this opportunity, or perhaps have a contact that could help us fill this opening, please email me at ashley.gregerson@pc.gc.ca

Thank you,
Ashley Gregerson

sounds like a really nice opportunity for someone. I know that many people act as camp hosts, hopefully you can fill the spot.

I checked it out about 2 months back Donna when we set up our Sept meet, but it doesn't fit in with our available time, even though the (supposed) campground is only minutes away....

Thanks Pam Garlow! Do you happen to know where people usually look for camp host opportunities when they are wanting to become camp hosts?

I'm not Pam, but here's: Camp Host Jobs and the biggy: Opportunities for Workamping (or Work Camping) -- over 175 sites in 12 states

Here's one for Canada: http://www.happyvagabonds.com/Jobs/canada_rv_jobs.htm

....private messages from 'Ashley' reveals that we are talking about two different campgrounds in the Fort Langley area. However my 'excuse(s) still remain the same.
