I wouldn't argue.
But, it's still not a Staub.

Wife keeps buying them for wedding presents.

If it wasn't a Staub, well, you know...

Problem with some places that let you buy really, really nice things at a good discount, is it's still a lot pricier than the less really nice things you don't know if you'll like and use enough to be worth paying a whole lot for...and should get the real thing or next to the real thing in the first place...or if it'll be in next year's donation box or garage sale because it wasn't right for you after all. Like a really good daquiri maker. Is it worth buying the best?

I'd rather buy cheap and upgrade if it turns out to be really important, than to buy really good and end up kicking myself for it. Done it both ways all too often, and regretted both ways all too often, too. Can't always predict before laying out the simoleons.

Drawback: what you end up keeping is often cheap stuff.

But then when it wears out and you know you want a replacement, then's the time to go long on quality and price.
