I always love traveling in Canada. Great people, great scenery, very clean! In the east, crossing over in the summer from jam packed Maine to wide open New Brunswick is awesome. Nova Scotia and PEI are great! The top around Lake Superior is a must do. Out west not too interesting until you get to the Rockies or the Alcan. From there west, awesome.

I’ve had mixed results on border crossings, particularly when I have been solo on my motorcycle. The border agents all ass-u-me that anyone on a bike is heavily armed and their job is to find where you are hiding weapons. I think they watch too much TV or something. And I have no doubts that they do catch some stupid people bringing weapons with them.

Ive also come across road blocks/checks, so have all your documents ready!

Speed limits are typically low even in the wide open spaces of the west. Not a problem for me when towing, bit of a problem when on my motorcycle
