Camping in Salt Lake City Area in June

Might be needing an inexpensive campground in the Salt Lake City Area in June.

Years ago we stayed at the KOA near the city. I have heard about Antelope Island State Park, I wonder if there might be something else there as well.

We have always camped at the KOA in Salt Lake City because of it's close-in location. A bit pricey (as are most KOA's) but the cost is somewhat offset by shorter drives, less gas, etc. Just an FYI - YMMV. LdB

We stayed at the KOA last year...it was nicely run and clean...as H. David states "the cost is somewhat offset by shorter drives, less gas, etc." if you're looking to tour the Mormon square and surrounds you can walk there in 30 minutes....I just pulled up my records for the night there and for 4 people it was 44.00. We had the following: Pull-thru, Full hookups, 50/30 amp, Cable, WiFi

We'd stay there again, no problem.
