I have a camping paper note book log, I keep in the trailer, it goes back to 1996. It has the camp ground name, date, camp site number, price paid for a night, site rating-Very Good--Good--Bad and what we did each day.We also rate the lake or beach if we camp by one.
We love to pull it out in the winter to see what we did last summer.

We do the same thing, at least as far as keeping the log goes. But we do it mostly because our memories are a little shaky and we want to remember the names of the good (and bad) campgrounds.
cheers
Ian

Ditto - we have been keeping ours since the early 90's - when the kids were much younger - great fun to look back at those years.... still keep one for us.

I've been keeping a log since I got the trailer as well (July 8, 2008) - oh boy is it ever fun to reminisce.

Our log goes back to 1972 when we bought our first camp trailer, a 1968 Tag-A-Long. That camper lasted two weeks - a tornado came along and reduced it to kindling and aluminum scrap. The book has info on when we bought (and sold) each camper, repairs, service and upgrades as well as every trip we took and what everything cost.

I might add that I also have the log books for every car and motorcycle I've ever owned. It is sad to look back and see where I filled the tank of my FIAT 500 for $2 (at 32 cents a gallon). Oh, for the good old days.

Kept in a 3 ring binder. During the winter I print camping pictures from the previous summer and slip them into the log. I used to take at least one picture of the trailer in every site I've camped but I've gotten a little lazy about that this year.

The only camping logs I bring with me go into the fire pit.

Yup - I keep dates, campgrounds, miles driven, etc - I like to know how many nights/miles I'm putting on the camper (well, the next owner might be interested too!).
Sometimes I write notes about the trip and put a couple pictures in my camping album.
