Does it have current license plates on it?
Does the seller have a legal title in their name?
If the owner has a clear and free title, the name of the trailer will be on the title along with the year and all other important data so all they have to do is to look at it to get the name.
I've seen similar in my travels. Might be an Aristocraft. Those 'rumpled' marks are likely the remains of a stripe package. There's a company out there that does refurbs of vintage campers, perhaps they might have something on their website (couldn't find it in my limited search).
If it doesn't leak, it might be alright, but I wouldn't give him more than half just to help offset the cost of the maintenance that will have to be updated.
