Canada to US travel

Anyone have advice about buying a camper in Canada and then bringing it back to the US? What do I need to know?

BE NICE, be very very nice to the customs officer at Emerson and you shouldn't have a problem.....
In fact, bringing a Canadian Trailer into the U.S. of A is much easier that bringing an American trailer into Canada. SOMETIMES these deals are often better left handled by customs brokers, as this IS what they DO for a living. Yes its more costly but a lot less hassle in the long run....IMHO!!!

make sure you have all the documents regardy the purchas of the tt and you should have no problem at all

There have been several threads in the recent past on this very subject, with a lot of specific info, so spend some time with the search engine.

One thing I would highly recommend, that hasn't much to do with the international border, is to check with your local state motor vehicle dept to find out exactly what sort of papers they will need for tax and license plates on an RV from out of the country.
