Aluminum foil blocks RF quite well. We use it to wrap handheld radios when transmitter hunting to zero in on a station. I also use it to block my spare key fob hidden in the car because it will allow the car to start even without a
battery. (You do travel with spare keys: correct?) Note also that the insulation in a
Scamp attenuates signals from cell phone sites.I carry three trackers that I can turn off at any time. Most used is APRS.FI (search for ac0gv), it is a ham radio system and has a few holes but it's FREE to hams.
