Casita added to our fiberglass fleet

An exciting day in our household, we just bought a 2008 Casita Freedom Deluxe 17'. Good news for our little 1974 Boler who now has a big brother

Believe it or not it is snowing here right now, we towed it home in a blizzard. Next summer cannot come soon enough.

congratulations on the newest addition to your family, ian!
it's a beauty.

and sorry about the snow!! we just returned from a short trip down the coast of maine, trying to extend the season a little bit with one last trip. the weather was gorgeous---17C and sunny. couldn't want nicer.
the leaves were at their peak and we squeaked in a few more nights in the trailer......heaven!

Nice find Ian! Where did you find it??
Sure hope you keep the snow on your side of the rockies but they are calling for flurries in the interior tonight as well.

Stumbled across it while doing a random Google search for Casita. I was was just looking if there were any dealers in our area and one of the search results was a Kijiji ad (which the pictures I posted are from).

It looked too good to pass up. The trailer was located in Fort MacLeod Alberta, about 2 hours from our home so we drove out this morning. The weather was good on our way out but coming home the wind was very strong followed by snow.

wooo how lucky was that. As I am sure you now know they are a bit of rare sighting on this side of the border. No import paper work! Lucky you. You should go by a LottoMax ticket.

I did buy a Lotto Max on Friday but have not checked my ticket yet, we could be $50 million richer and not even know

The rarity of Casita's in Canada is amazing and I am so grateful how lucky we were to come across this gem.

Spring camping season cannot come soon enough

Lucky you. I have been searching for just a month and they are as rare as hen's teeth. Just want to find a newer model in good shape--looks like I will have to bite the bullet and buy new : (

Right after this picture was taken we towed it to our storage lot and "tucked it in" for the long winter. We are sure looking forward to next year and are hoping spring comes early.
