Cool Barefoot camper from Britain.

Have any of these made it to the US?

It's been redesigned (including a built-in wine rack). Cute. Check it out. They are pricey to begin with, then there would be the exorbitant cost of importing. But I'd love to see one pull into a fiberglass RV rally on this side of the "pond."

Indeed, the UK has a very cool selection of light weight Caravans, many suitable for pulling behind a small to mid sized car such as a Jetta. I saw some neat features when I was poking around some of their websites... deluxe models have a motorized nose wheel so the trailer can move itself. very few have A/C of any sort, but they often have large vista windows, and many even have large skylights.

The entry/exit door is on the wrong side for US campgrounds.

Just reserve drive-through sites and pull in from the opposite direction. Problem solved. Otherwise, Walmart parking lots don't care what side the door is on.

john many of the European trailers come with that nose wheel motorized I saw them work amazing they use a hand held remote they turn them sideways on their camping spots I never understood that?

I saw some nice looking trailers but since I was in a tenting mode then I didn't pay much attention! Sort of funny to see a trailer tugged in by a Mercedes or a Bmw! The Europeans are world class campers lots come up to Italy from the Netherlands to spend 8 weeks or so! I also saw many fantastic tents.. bob
