Yesterday, I saw a Tesla Model Y pulling a Little Guy Mini Max tear drop trailer. There is a larger charger where you don't have to unhook the trailer, in Lancaster, PA. The GVWR is 3500 lbs and it's 2320 lbs dry with a 280 lb tongue
weight. My husband would rather get a gas vehicle to tow, or even a diesel, like a Porsche Cayenne, which has a tow capacity of 7,700 lbs. I would not be thrilled to have that in place of the Tesla since we would get 20 mpg on premium and I wouldn't want to use it much (we drive a Prius Prime 50k per year to travel and commute and get like 65 mpg). A Tesla comes close to the efficiency of a Prius, especially with gas prices where they are.
