Crazy good weather...

We have broken records for high temps in our area for the last three days. It maybe camping time this weekend. We don't have any plans for Easter so I am hoping to go on our maiden voyage. We still have a few rivets to replace and some polyglow to apply but otherwise it is ready. Ed might not recongnise his old camper. I hope to have my picture problem fixed soon so i can post more pics.

We hit 92 here Today,it is actually HOT already!
Warmest March ever in STL and more records broken than ever too.

Shelly I didn't realize you had not gone out yet in it?

I am thinking of getting away too but I have so many things 1/2 done in the trailer I am not sure I can wrap it up that quick.

Also I hope this weather is not a preview of the heat we are getting this summer.
We have a window now and it does seem crazy not to take advantage of it.

We hit 95 yesterday in our trailer here in Yuma. After returning from the 90 F pool I turned on the AC and it was quickly down to 86. Interestingly it was perfectly comfortable in this extremely dry climate - only 3 inches of rain a year but a true breadbasket of the nation with 256,000 acres (400 square miles) undercultivation.

Many of these acres are under single crop continuous cultivation; a place where 12 Alfalfa crops can be hayed in sngle field each year. It's the 95% sunshine and a continual supply of water from the Colorado River.

An amazing place.....

Send sun to Oregon... we're drowning. Just had the wetest March on record. I'm hoping it finishes the downpour and we have a dry Spring NOG

We'll be in Oregon and a few weeks and bring some AZ dryness.

To have this nice of weather makes me worried about what is to come also. I am more worried about the tornados. Ed, does sleeping in it over night count as camping even if it is in your driveway?

It is really dry here too. There have been alot of fires. We live in a farming community, and they have been working in the fields for 3 weeks. It's kind of unheard of. Trade me Donna....

Well, we just got home from our maiden voyage. It was wonderful. No surprises in things wrong with the camper. We have most things fixed and ready. We had a fairly decent weekend. BUT Saturday the wind blowed really hard, there was a chance of rain but it went around us. So Saturday we stayed inside all snug as a bug in a rug. I love the carpet on the walls and celing, it just makes it so cozy. We watched the last half of the first season of True Blood. It was nice today so we took our time coming home, sat by a fire and did some walking with the dogs. All in all, a great weekend. Loveing the Casita!

happy SNOWY easter from the maritimes!! today we awoke to a winter wonderland, with a total fall approaching 5 inches. could have been worse, as they had originally forecasted a dump of 10-12 inches.

doesn't that ol' bunny have a warped sense of humour????

No kidding! Good thing Easter eggs are typically dyed... I can't imagine going out in snow looking for white eggs, unless they're 13' long or bigger
