SURELY someone else has come up with this... but our new camper (since she is only 13') is called 'The Shrimp Scampie'

Yes. we will be adding a giant shrimp decal and some lettering. Why? Because we are just a little ridiculous. lol.

We are avid flyfisher-women... though, to be honest... we rarely use shrimp... though, we did use a mysis shrimp fly on the frying pan river in colorado this year... does that count?

Ours is called "2nd Chance" because our first one was totaled. Ours has no scamp decals. We have had people say they googled 2nd chance and nothing came up ,what is it they ask.

Yes, there's another trailer at least out there named that--unless you named yours several years ago. In which case YOU are the other trailer!

I think it's a brilliant name for a 13' Scamp.

As for finding these name threads, we don't generally call them "campers," but trailers. Try some other combos of words; there are several of these threads, including on the web.

We didn't name our Casita. We were driving up to a Texas State Park, stopped to get a permit, and the park ranger looked at us and said, "did you know there's a giant marshmallow following you!" Ever since then we call our 2001 Casita Marshmallow!

My sister took one look at our Casita and said you have to name her, she looks like a Casi. So "Casi" the Casita she is, pronounced Cass E, not Casey. I am sure there are many others with the same name but it's short and sweet and stuck immediately.

We talk about the camper like it's the family dog. "Lets take Casi out, she needs to get out".

Ah, I thought I our Shrimp Scampi was the only one! We just got ours, so we'll think of something else. Not to be a spelling pain, but it's spelled Scampi without a "e". Best wishes!
