We call our 1973 amerigo, "Peanut." One shell with two nuts in it. We have a bed at each end and it's narrower in the center as well.

But the theme isn't peanuts. My first goal was "soothing," with pale natural wood tones, white painted basketweaving over natural wood or gray, white curtains with gray design, and pale blue touches.

But we gradually created a zoo.

We have a tin pug coffee plaque, a blue & white sheep throw, a blue reindeer throw, a tiger blanket, a dolphin blanket, a hound-dog neck pillow, 3 pug pillows, a ladybug colander, fish linens, a fish wall hook, starfish, crab and snails on a beach towel curtain, a monkey name "logo," a pug decal, dog footprints on the windows, a Sac n Fox thunderbird decal, and two live pugs.

All the animals in the zoo
Are jumping up and down for you,
Hoping that you'll be sure and plan
A day at the zoo (in the rig) as soon as you can!...
Animals,
Animals,
Animals here and there...
Animals animals, animals, animals...
Animals everywhere!
-- from the 1960s Portland Zoo theme song

I may have already posted this, but we have named our campers Daisy Mae after my paternal grandmother Daisy Mae Campbell Alguire, who was the first person I knew as a kid to have a travel trailer. She was about as cool a grandmother as you could get!

We thought of not naming it when we had it built, and just follow Jim Bennett's lead and call it "the trailer". But where's the fun in that?

Besides, we bought it because we were tired of tent camping. So it has a name, but tells our story too.

...so, may I use it too? Only informally, I promise.

"Suite 13" and the "Beach House"

After a 2+ year major renovation we named our vintage 1971 13' Boler "Suite 13"

"Suite 13" is fully furnished and equipped with the follow luxury features:
  • Mickey Mouse decor
  • firm high density foam double bed
  • memory foam twin bed
  • climate controlled 5000 btu a/c
  • full wet bath complete with sink, shower and cassette toilet
  • 19" LCD color television
  • wireless blue tooth speaker
  • 1.6 cu ft. refrigerator
  • toaster oven
  • Coleman 2 burner propane stove
  • Coleman portable gas grill
  • custom wood cabinetry
  • 16 gallon on board water tank
  • Seaflo 1.6 GPM 35 psi 12vdc water pump
  • Fastair propane tankless water heater
  • City water hook ups
  • WFCO 30 amp 120v and 12 VDC power center
  • 2 zero gravity recliner chairs for the patio
We just acquired a Play Mor II this week and my wife is already planning the interior decor with a beach theme so we will probably name it "The Beach House". We don't need two but could not pass up this one due to the price and we figured our family can use it to go camping with us

I have named my Cadet the Sea Shell, inspired by the beachy theme I am going for with her.

I like that. Simple, unpretentious, and it will fit your theme.

Maybe spell the first name Perris instead of Paris?

Then it's a play on words.

I'm jealous! I'd love to find a fixer-upper nearby!

Prairie Schooner, similar to the name given to the settlers crossing the great plains, taken at Escape's factory.

Past Tents -- strikes me that Past Tense wouldn't be a bad name, either...
