Did you name your camper?
I have named all my cars- from my first 1957 3 on-a-tree Ford (Blue Denim for some home made upholstering)to Saturn Girl, my 2006 5 speed Saturn. (Legion of Super Heroes, anyone?)
Do you name your campers?
And for you engineers- What is your camper's name?
(You know the old joke- woman sends her husband who is an engineer to the store to get a gallon of milk "Oh, and if they have eggs, get a dozen"...He comes home with a dozen gallons of milk. Wife asks Why? he says "They had eggs")
Answers not restricted to only engineers- those of us with some language skills recognize already we are being asked what are our campers' names...

My Scamp13D is named "Eggy-Sue" (the Pull-it Surprize)
And the truck is "Robert Red Ford"
He drives straight down the right side of the road.
(doesn't pull to the left like his namesake)

A friend once warned me not to name my vehicle. Bad luck. Sounds like it's worked out for you, though.
My truck doesn't have a name, it's just a truck.
Little egg campers just cry out for names. There are a lot of clever and appropriate names that people have used here if you check the profiles and the showcase. I couldn't come up with an original name for my old Scamp 13 until recently. As I was mounting my 3rd solar panel on the roof, I couldn't help but think of the Mars Rovers with their panels deployed. So...she's got a name: Opportunity (earthbound). I think it fits.

Hey Floyd,
That name has always made me smile.
The truck is damn clever, too.

We had a personalized license plate for our 13' Scamp that read "Mansion", so when we sold it, we transferred it to our Lil Snoozy.

We're waiting for a name to come for our Casita. You can't hurry these things, it has to occur eggs post facto to an actual event.

Since the Little Joe has the name plastered on both sides and since there are so few of them out there it didn't make sense to name it.............what? Hoss maybe?
When asked what Little Joe is, I answer that it is my stage name and that my wife and I have a knife throwing act.

Our kids named ours Iggy. Iggy the Egg. If we slip up and call it "The Scamp" inevitably someone (and by someone, I mean our daughter!) says, "Don't you LOVE Iggy? Why aren't you calling her by name??"
So we go with it

As most probably know from the last few times this topic was brought up, I am extremely frustrated that so many have taken the name we chose for our trailer, to use for themselves. Where the heck is originality anyway?
We call ours "The Trailer".

Since we bought our 1 year old Casita in Casper, Wy, we named him Casper, because he is also white and friendly. Tow vehicle license plate is caspulr(Casper puller). We are so anal we sent adoption notices to family with birth parents names and weight and length etc.. We have a weird family!!

Being monolingual, I always thought that if I were to buy a Casita, I would remove the graphics and replace them with ones which read..."Little House".
Or better yet... How about "Cascaron", "CasaGallina", or even "Casahuevo"

Mentally, I don't even think of my Escape 5.0TA as being THAT... or even a trailer or camper. I automatically think:

You inspired me. When I put solar panels on mine, I'll call it Curiosity. We also explore this world - I mean this continent.
We never named our inanimate objects, it easier to part with them when they crap out. Lot of cars we drove until the end of their lives.

I've never been one to name objects. But with two daughters, I guess a name was inevitable, and Scampy stuck. It started as "the Scamp," and then "the Scampy," but when it became just plain "Scampy," as in, "When are we going camping with Scampy again?" I knew our trailer had a name.
