Dimensions for forward upper cabinet in a Scamp 13'

Hi all, one of the changes I would like to make to our 13' Scamp is add a forward upper cabinet. Would anyone have an original factory cabinet and know the depth and height? I figured what the factory did would be a good starting point.

That would be a good start. I always found our upper cabinet to have a lack of forward space (width) (most likely not to bump ahead when getting up). That was on our 13'. I would love to have more cabinet in our fifth wheel in the bunk but I think it would take away the openness of the bunk and I would be bumping my head.

This is not exactly what you are looking for, but many people have made their own upper cabinets (front and rear). Scamp sells them fairly reasonably, but the shipping is very expensive because it is truck freight. There were also some files (maybe in our document center here) where people made dimensional sketches for Boler cabinets.

Scamp says there are slight differences in the Scamp/Boler cabinets, and also now the rear of the Scamp is more square than the Bolers and older Scamps (like yours I believe). I think this is because they wanted to put in a "flat" rear window.

I'll search and see if I can post links to previous threads; there is a treasure trove of information available here in the archives that people have posted.

Most useful:

Less useful, but still might have some info for you:

Start this one at post #85 (boler rear cabinet so not totally apropos):
